Sammy Hagar and The Circle Announce Tour, New Album Details

Sammy Hagar has finally released details for his forthcoming album with his new band, The Circle.

The album, The Space Between, which Hagar has said is the greatest album he's ever recorded, will be released May 10.

Sammy Hagar & The Circle — which also features bassist Michael Anthony, guitarist Vic Johnson and drummer Jason Bonham support the album with a North American tour beginning April 19, including select dates with Vince Neil and Night Ranger.

The band released its first single, "Trust Fund Baby" in the last week of January.

Hagar has said the album was largely inspired by autobiographical themes, from growing up homeless to becoming a wealthy rock star and entrepreneur later in life.

"It's about the misconception that money is the root of all evil, because the truth of the matter is, that it isn't money at all," he explained to told the Broward Palm Beach New Times in September. "You can feed the poor, you can heal the sick, you can make people happy, you can stop a war with money, but it's greed that is the problem ... It's what I discovered by being both rich and poor."

Fans can preorder The Space Between here.

The name The Circle may sound familiar to some.

While The Space Between is the band's first studio album, it was co-founded in 2014 by Hagar, Anthony, Bonham and Johnson.

The band's first release was a live album called At Your Service, which was also released in 2014.
