Chris Carrabba Is Selling Gear That Shaped Dashboard Confessional's Sound

Dashboard Confessional is in the midst of celebrating 20 years as a band, and as part of the festivities band leader Chris Carrabba partnered up with Reverb to sell some of the equipment that helped shape the band's sound over the past two decades.

"Reverb has partnered with Dashboard Confessional’s Chris Carrabba to sell the guitars, amps, effects pedals, and more that were used to write, record, and perform nearly every Dashboard Confessional album," the shop's description reads. "From the amp Carrabba bought to play his very first Reverb show to the guitar used for Dashboard Confessional’s 2002 MTV Unplugged performance, The Official Dashboard Confessional Reverb Shop features the gear that helped shape the bands sound over the past 20 years."

The band also revealed the shop on Instagram. Check out the post below.

Next year, Dashboard Confessional embark on a 20th anniversary tour that sees the band playing two if its most iconic album — The Places You Have Come to Fear the Most and A Mark, A Mission, A Brand, A Scar — in their entireties. Check out a full list of tour dates below and get ticket info here.
